Welcome to the Tournaments page The club hold regular tennis and squash tournaments throughout the year, open to all club members. Annual Club Tennis Tournament :
- RESULTS - 2009 CLUB TENNIS TOURNAMENT Ladies Singles Winner: Val Woodhouse Runner-Up: Hannah Codling-Thomas Men' Singles Winner: Nick Broughton Runner-Up: Adam Smith Ladies Doubles Winners: Ann Armitage & Roma Lawrence Runners- Up: Annie Cowper Johnson & Jean Spruce Men's Doubles Winners: Nick Kidd & Paul Everden Runners-Up: & Mike Holdom & Paul Roebuck Mixed Doubles Winners: Annie Cowper Johnson & Matthew Jordan Runners-Up: Fiona Hoffman & Paul Everden The 2010 Cub Tournament - Finals Day will be on Saturday 4th September, 2010 This year the event will follow the Open Senior Tournament, matches will commence on Monday 16th, August,2010.
Open Tennis Tournaments The club annually holds open junior and senior tennis tournaments. Players travel from all over the UK to play on our award winning grass courts. The tournament dates for this year are as follows:- Junior Open Tennis:- Monday 26th July - Saturday 31st July,2010 GO TO Junior TournamentSenior Open Tennis:-Monday 9th August - Saturday 14th August,2010 GO TO Senior Tournament
LTA County Week 19th - 23rd July 2010 We are also proud to be one of the few clubs to host an LTA County week. County teams from all over Britain come and compete over 5 days - a beautiful setting for some stunning tennis. In 2010 the championships will take place from 19th - 23rd July and we will again play host to Men's Group 2. It will be a rare opportunity to see a high standard of tennis - free of charge! |
